Doodles

Doodles: November 17, 2009

I didn’t have time to finish my comic for today, so instead I give you a couple pages of doodles from this weekend. I haven’t doodled in a long long time; all my time drawing has been spent drawing for a purpose. Can you tell that I scrawled this while watching The Two Towers?

Some sketches in the meantime

Some sketches in the meantime…

Last week was pretty hectic with my latest show opening and all, but
this week I’m endeavoring to get back on the comic bandwagon. Of course, the comic I’m working on now is pretty big (again) so it’s taking me some time to draw it. I hope to have it up by Thursday. In the meantime, since we’re finishing up the Panama story, here are some more sketches from my travel book. The big one is a composite of the plant drawings I made (as referenced in the last strip).

Shrine to the Virgin

Shrine To The Virgin

I know y’all getting eager for new stuff, and I promise I’m working on it. I’m working on quite a bit at the moment. In the meantime, here’s something I drew while on my trip.

Episcus & Edenus

A bit of freelance illustration I did for a New York theatre company’s upcoming ten-minute musical about a Christian eager to be eaten by a lion so he can be a martyr and lion with no taste for Christians. The ladies are the three muses that also appear in the show.

Mistress Grez

Mistress Grez

This is a fun little cartoon I drew of one of the actresses in my current show as her character.
