Charles Riffenburg IV is a Chicago-based artist and actor who specializes in storytelling and communication across various mediums. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sequential Art (which is the specific study of cartooning, comic books, comic strips, and storyboarding) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Media & Performing Arts (specializing in acting and directing) from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Positions he has held or currently holds in Chicago include:

Marketing Director for Keyhole Theatre Company, which included designing promotional materials such as posters, postcards, and web design as well as interacting with theatre reporters and critics.

Creative Design for the Callaway Group, which requires creating illustrations, icons, and comic strips to quickly and effectively communicate complex ideas and examples in print and live presentations. He is also responsible for web design and maintenance, layout and copy editing of various publications, and design and maintenance of the public newsletter. His duties with this company are continually evolving to meet their changing needs worldwide.

Art Design for Frank Merle Films, such as poster design and prop design and construction for individual films, as well as web design and maintenance for the company as a whole.

Charles's comics have been published online since 2003 and have also been printed in the Small Press Expo Anthology and for several years in Savannah's The Chronicle newspaper.

In additional to his art and design work, Charles is a prolifical stage and film actor, appearing in an average of four productions per year in the Chicago area since moving there in 2004. He continues to seek new challenges in all of his fields of skill.
